This past weekend, December 4-5th The RPV held an “Advance” in
Friday night I attended Delegate Bob Marshall’s presentation concerning the legislation he has submitted to protect We The People from the threat of Socialized medicine. In addition to this excellent and encouraging presentation, results from an extensive and comprehensive survey was submitted via a power point presentation. These survey results showed, conclusively, that the driving force to vote Republican was to defeat the Socialist agenda of this current Administration and the perception that the statewide candidates were Conservative.
Saturday at the luncheon was a different story all together. McDonnell and Bolling asserted that it was the Big Tent, the campaign of “positive inclusion”, while acknowleding the need to energize the conservative base, which I read to mean, they need us, but they don’t want to represent us. In fact they’re embarrassed by us.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but they just don’t get it. They just don’t want to get it.
